FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Would you like to learn more about our tables, materials, or customization options? Here you can find answers to the most common questions about our products, manufacturing, and philosophy.

1. What is epoxy resin and what is it used for?

Epoxy resin is a durable synthetic resin used for decorative river table designs or for sealing. It provides not only stability but also a unique design.

2. Can I customize the table?

Since we operate our own production, we can also manufacture tables individually according to customer requests. However, we make sure not to cut down living trees – we use only already felled or naturally fallen wood. Therefore, for each request, we check whether the desired design is feasible with the available material.

3. Are the tables suitable for everyday use?

Absolutely. Our tables are practical for daily use, robust, and have a protective surface. They are suitable for dining rooms, offices, conference rooms, etc.

4. How do I properly care for my wooden or epoxy resin table?

Avoid aggressive cleaners. A damp cloth and mild soap are sufficient. Upon request, we provide a care guide.

5. Is an on-site inspection or consultation possible?

By appointment, you can visit our workshop or showroom and receive on-site consultation.

6. Are there tables without resin?

Yes – we also produce solid wood tables, e.g., with natural live edges or classic edges, completely without resin.

7. How heavy is a table approximately?

The weight varies depending on size and type of wood, but usually ranges between 80 and 200 kg. We are happy to advise you on the load-bearing capacity of your room.

8. Is the wood sustainable?

Yes – sustainability is our top priority. Our absolute rule is: no healthy tree is felled. We use only wood from trees that have naturally ended their life – for example, due to age, storm damage, or drying damage. This results in genuine unique pieces: some of the trees used for our tables were 400 to 600 years old. Each piece carries its own story.

9. Which types of wood are used?

We use only high-quality woods such as Iroko, Sapeli, Ash, Cherry, Olive, Walnut, and Chestnut.

10. Are the tables available as unique pieces?

Yes, each table is a handcrafted unique piece – with a unique wood grain and individual design.

11. Can I order online?

No, online ordering is not possible. We emphasize that you should see the tables in person at the showroom.

12. Where can I view the tables?

Visit our showroom at Lilienthalstraße 4, 89231 Neu-Ulm – there you can see all pieces live.
